Fairlane

1987 ZL FAIRLANE

This an Australian designed and built Ford Fairlane.
These were a groundbreaking car for Australia in their day with features such as a full digital dash, binnacle switch pods, trip computer, and the sturdy 4.1 alloy head six with EFI.
This is unleaded fuel model with country pack suspension.

Our local tip operator thought it was just too good to crush and generously offered it to us for $50.00, it took about a second to make up our minds and we then drove it home as is.
It drives fairly well but has a lot of issues, luckily I've owned and worked on a lot of these Fords so this will be an enjoyable trip down memory lane.
These Fairlanes are surprisingly rare now, but there are plenty of new and second hand parts around.
