Our 1970 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.

We got this as a project as it's had a smack in the front.
Overall the car is very good all round and will be a great car when done.

Pictures of the restoration to follow.

We intend to fit a late model unleaded Ford V8 with LP gas conversion and 4 speed auto to improve economy and reliability.

Because of the damage we also got a spare body shell to change all the bits into.
Interior needs minor work.   Spare body. Spare body inside. Bonnet fitted to body.
Damaged car cleaned out. Panels fitted to new body. Removing engine and transmission. Just lift the body off the engine and
front subframe!
Engine out!
And then a real stroke of luck, a rolls subframe which has already been modified for a Ford V8!
Separating engine from subframe. Engine and transmission. Front subframe assy. Still lots to strip out.
Subframe from rear. Ford engine mounting point. Rear of subframe cut away for Ford. Ford Windsor 5.0 EFI V8 out of our wrecked Fairlane. The Ford V8 comes standard with a tubular manifold.
Ford V8 on Modified subframe. Old Body almost stripped. Rear end being removed. Job done! The White Rolls body has now gone to be used for spare panels and rust repair sections.
